Stonewall’s Starting Out Guide 2016/17 is Britain’s only national careers guide for lesbian, gay, bi and trans (LGBT) students, graduates and jobseekers.

Featuring articles about being LGBT in the workplace including stories from inspirational role models, top tips for finding LGBT friendly employers and overviews of different jobs sectors, it also contains a listing of Stonewall’s Diversity Champions – employers who are actively committed to promoting equality for their LGBT staff.

Essex in Stonewalls’ Top 100 Employers

The University of Essex is ranked 53rd  in Stonewall’s Top 100 Employers 2016 list which showcases the best employers for lesbian, gay and bisexual staff. We’re in the top six universities listed and are aiming to be placed even higher in 2017.
